This Garter found was under an old crushed bucket by the side of some railroad tracks. The Garter is probably an interspecies intergrade of some kind as its coloration is VERY unique as you can see in the photos. All Garters found around the area have been Red-Sided so far. With the checkered pattern it could also have some Plains in it (T. radix) in it. I am open to theories to this beautiful and unique morph. Other than this find, it was a pretty quiet day.
