Temp/Conditions: 70 degrees. Windy, cloudy.

We went out to a local lake to find water snakes. After turning a large number of rocks along the shore we were ready to give up. We stopped by the boat rental area for a pop and then we went down by the boat docks. There we saw and failed to catch two Northern Banded Water Snakes (Nerodia sipedon). They dived for the rocks before I could get a hand on them. We did find a Fox snake in that same area. This was all we found today.
