We went north hoping to find Massasagua, but the weather didn't really cooperate. The first herp of the day was this Painted Turtle (Chrysemys picta) coming up out of a ditch and into the grass picture is in situ.

We walked a field for a while, and heard lots of frogs calling, but didn't see anything. On the way back to the car we found this Eastern Garter Snake (Thamnophis sirtalis). It was laying in the gravel next to the road, these shots are in situ.

In the parking lot we found this Redbelly Snake (Storeria occipitomaculata) headed toward a small rock pile. The first shot is in situ.

We went on to a few other spots, but the weather got colder and cloudier and we didn't see anything else.
