The main reason for this post is to show that sometimes a good day can yield little. It is also a little sad as this is a Timber area that seems to be deteriorating. We have done some work to help the habitat, but it continues to yield a little less. In upcoming years we plan to work this area a little more, work with the DNR to continue to help the habitat and monitor the situation.
This afternoon all we found was a juvenile Milk Snake (Lampropeltis triangulum) about 7 inches long after a couple of hours looking around.
Stay tuned true believers!
